[unable to attend] College Station, TX

Here’s my life in a nutshell:
After high school, I moved to Phoenix and got a degree in electronics from DeVry. During that time I married and divorced within a year.
Shortly after school I met and married my wife Chris. We celebrated our 34th anniversary on July 17th!
After 6 years in Phoenix and after our first son Jason was born (now 34), we moved to Houston; my Mom was living there at the time.
We’ve had two more kids since then, a daughter Shannon (27) and another son Tyler (24). Jason was married an divorced and is no on his second marriage closing in on 2 years and is currently living in Waco. Shannon is living in Austin, is doing very well, and we expect an engagement announcement soon! Tyler is a geeks geek; he programs in multiple languages and on various platforms. He graduated from A&M’s Computer Science program last year with his BS and is currently working for GM in Austin.
I’ve been with the same company for almost 32 years now. Formerly known as UCS (Universal Computer Systems) but several years ago we bought out our largest competitor, Reynolds & Reynolds, and took their name for marketing reasons.
I started at the company flying around installing the systems. Moved to the bench repair department, and after a while moved up to manager. After about 10 years, I started a new internal support department. We manage the internal systems the hardware division runs on. I wear a lot of hats these days, DBA, software developer, application manager, custom report developer, and probably a couple other hats I’m not remembering right now (Tyler comes by it naturally:-)
Around 20 years ago my company moved us up to College Station and we absolutely love it! Yes, there are a lot of students (Texas A&M) but it’s still a small town atmosphere, which has been great for the kids!
Well that’s about it. Hope to get back up there to visit everyone one of these days; just can’t make it this year. Have fun!
